Each issue of ESMS Journal features a general topic of multi-disciplinarity, announced on the journal's website, and contains only original researches and papers related to Econophysics, Sociophysics and other multi-disciplinary domains. The researches and papers that have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere are not accepted to ESMS Journal. All articles will be submitted to ESMS Journal only in a suitable English form. Editors cannot accept articles that are not readable in English.

I. Specifications
The ESMS Journal is issued twice a year, in March and September. For the March issue, the manuscripts must be submitted by 30th of November, and for the September issue by June 1st.
The papers are submitted to a verification of eligibility based on the compliance with the specific topic of the ESMS Journal's issue (see the requirements set within the Authors Guidelines). The authors are informed via email about the result of the verification within 30 days from the submission deadline. Eligible papers are submitted to double blind peer review, that lasts 60 days, the authors being informed about the general result (paper accepted or not from the standpoint of eligibility). The papers must be 8 to 16 pages long and follow the X5 style. The text of the paper will be written in Times New Roman, 10 point, single line spacing. All submissions are electronic in format MS-Word 2003 (with the extension ".doc"). All papers that do not conform to these requirements (see specified requirements in this Guide) will be rejected outright, without being sent to peer review. Manuscripts should be submitted using the form provided on the Journal's website (

II. Recommendations
II.1 Paper Title
The title should describe concisely and rigorously the content of the paper, and it remains crucial for the title to include one or two keywords that readers are likely to use when searching for articles online.
II.2 Abstract
The abstract should include information for readers to allow them to judge the original ESMS Journal's significance and multi-disciplinary topic. Either a classical investigatory sectioning of the paper (literature review, data and method, results and discussions, conclusions, etc.), or some different and renamed structures should summarize the paper's objectives, methodology, results and conclusions. In order to increase the visibility of the article, the abstract should reiterate two or three keywords, and even significant phrases.
II.3 Keywords
Five to ten keywords (words or expressions) that capture the essence of your paper should be listed in alphabetical order, ensuring consistency with the title and the abstract of the article.
II.4 Paper Body
The entire paper should be the result of a research corresponding to the multi-disciplinary topic of the ESMS Journals' issue. Please make use of accepted terminology in multi-disciplinary field, provide an accurate methodology, clear results, and important discussions of the findings' implications.
II.5 Conclusions or final remarks
The section including conclusions or final remarks should not be missed, and must underline the main contributions of the paper; it must discuss the importance of the paper in general also (some suggestions for future research, possible applications and extensions of the research are encouraged indeed).
II.6. General paper formatting
The title and the authors' name, their academic affiliation, and the e-mail address must be written in a single column's text (the paper title in uppercase, centered across the of the page in TNR font type, 12 point, bold, and the authors name, the academic affiliation, and the e-mail address in TNR font type 11 point italic). The first author is considered from the start the contact author). The rest of the paper must be written in two columns manner using TNR font type, 10 point. The abstract will be written in Times New Roman 9 point. It must have maximum 200 words, single-spaced, without abbreviations of any kind. Tables and figures could be placed in the body of the paper in a single column or a double column manner and should not occupy more than one page each. The heading should be in Times New Roman 10 point. Titles and numbers should be positioned under the table, chart or figure. Please indicate the source of data when appropriate. References to tables and figures in the text of the article should be made within parentheses, e.g. "(Fig. no.1), (Table no. 1)". Graphs must be uncluttered, and preferably in black and white, and equations and formulas should be numbered (the numbers are to be justified to the right, within parentheses).
II.7 Referencing style
Generally, ESMSJ uses a specific references style, but the Journal accepts the Harvard referencing style, developed by Anglia Ruskin University
(

III. Paper submission
Submission of papers implies full responsibility taken by the authors for observing next criteria: a) not previously published; b) submitted not for reviewing to other journals; c) endorsed by all the authors; d) either tacit or explicit approval. All the multi-disciplinary papers may be sent by e-mail to editors in chief: gsavoiu@yahoo.com <https://mail.upit.ro/src/compose.php?send_to=gsavoiu@yahoo.com>, manager of the EDEN Workshop - SAI Center of the Faculty of Economic Science. Referees evaluate papers on the following criteria: multi-disciplinarity and originality, modern structure and language, correctness in using data and methodology, transparency of the results, support for further research, and credibility in bibliographic sources that indicate relevant previous research to the multi-disciplinary subject matter. Both the author(s) and the referees remain anonymous in the evaluation process (peer-review), and referees will not correct or edit the papers submitted for evaluation, and the final decision of paper's acceptance or rejection must be taken by the Editorial Board based on evaluations received from the two referees.
IV. Copyright transfer
In the case of accepted paper for publication in ESMS Journal, the authors transfer the copyrights to ESMS Journal, which will have henceforth the exclusive right to publish and disseminate the paper.

Plagiarism Procedure

ESMSJ strongly support the fight against plagiarism. The authors have the moral and legal obligation to submit original articles to ESMSJ. If the authors have used the work(s) and/or words of others, they should ensure that this has been cited or quoted in the article in a proper manner. Editors of ESMSJ will check each submitted paper with a plagiarism detector software.

To prevent the spread of plagiarism ESMSJ will take the following measures:

- Create a blacklist of authors who have plagiarized. The blacklist will be published on ESMSJ website and the authors that have plagiarized will not be accepted to publish articles in the journal;

- Provide on its website the link for popularizing procedures against plagiarism of all databases in which ESMSJ is indexed;

- Withdrawal from journal website of articles that are the result of plagiarism;

- Notify the affiliation institution of an author accused of plagiarism;

- Notify the author of the original work, if that is possible.

ESMS Journal will not be held legally responsible in case of complaints or demands for financial compensations from third parties. Papers that do not comply with all the requirements will not be accepted for publication. The Editorial Board is thanking you in advance for your interest.
